Bio

Denise has been painting full time now for over 20 years, and has had gallery representation of her work in Western Canada since 1999. Breaking down the landscape, she paints into basic elements – form, colour and composition – and bold in her simplicity yet complex in her subtle variations of design elements, she in particular brings focus to Western Canada’s countryside. Through her work, she hopes to promote conversations concerning an appreciation of the landscape. Her personal goal for her work is that you might have a momentary connection that is meaningful to you.
